I highly recommend RTEC! Ben was available within a couple days to provide his professional arborist advice and price. Within a week the crew arrived and did a thoroughly professional job. Impressively, Ben made himself available for consultation during the job regarding an unexpected hole found in the tree - reviewing pics forwarded to him and providing his professional opinion.

RTEC Tree has been taking care of our front Zelkova with biostimulant treatments for several years now. We had extensive front hard and landscape construction completed around the zelkova, and the tree came through beautifully with no shock whatsoever. They respect the existing new landscaping. RTEC has also pruned our trees and removed disease trees from our property over the years, including an oak tree from the Resource Protection Area (which was not on our property). They worked with Fairfax County to file all paperwork to remove the tree which posed a hazard to the surrounding homes including ours. RTEC has all the equipment to deal with any tree problem and their crews are pleasant to interact with. They arrive on time and finish the job in an efficient manner, cleaning up all the debris. I highly recommend RTEC for all your tree needs.

I have a number of very large trees on my property which are much taller than my two story home. It is amazing to watch the RTEC men ascend to the very top and clear. out the necessary branches. They have kept the trees healthy for many years and always leave the area neatly cleared. I feel fortunate to have found such a reliable and pleasant company.

RTEC was very easy to work with. They sent a knowledgeable arborist to our home to evaluate all the trees on the lot. We knew which trees we needed taken care of, but Ben really helped us understand the health of all the trees on our lot and he was definitely not a high-pressure sales person. (And, the arborist visit is no cost.) The crew that came to do the work was excellent. They showed up right on time and did the work methodically and safely. They were polite and cordial and seemed to work well together. Tree work is expensive but if you have a heavily-wooded lot, it's not an option to delay it. To wit, later in the day after the crew left, we had a a giant thunder storm with high winds. I wasn't worried about falling limbs even once! All-in-all a very good experience.

We found RTEC Treecare through the ISA website as I wanted a certified arborist to discuss an issue with our Japanese maple. We worked with Ben Gotch, an ISA certified arborist. He was responsive to all of our questions and provided options for us. He also oversaw the ultimate tree trim. They did such a wonderful job that I didn't immediately realize they had trimmed the tree; they kept our tree beautiful while taking care of the problem branch. I would also like to thank the office staff who arranged the appointments; they were also very responsive and helpful. I would recommend RTEC Treecare for all your tree needs.

Excellent arborist. Clearly an expert in tree types, growth issues, etc. Gave very detailed written estimate as to what the team was to do and they followed it exactly. No misunderstandings, trees/bushes beautifully reshaped and yard ready for the fall! Did a nice clean up job too.

Fantastic and wonderful service from initial estimate to followup questions and to work day. I enjoyed working with Ben who gave an honest assessment. Some of the answers were not what we wanted to hear, but were his honest truth. We balanced risks, cost and rewards and he worked with us. The day-of workers were great too and I appreciated their timeliness and professionalism. Thank you! Hoping our tree continues to thrive.
